Come and Stay
The concept for utilizing recycled shipping containers and making them into unique accommodations was perfect for our location and resources. Concise and quaint these 2 person container cabins provide for the perfect cozy getaway. The idea was to create the homey comforts in a contemporary farmhouse style as well as encourage the exploration of the beautiful surrounding waterways & natural areas.
The Bedroom
Comfort was the primary goal here so, provided is a queen size bed with plush bedding and plenty of soft pillows to make for an excellent slumber or versatile lounge space when necessary. The super luxurious foam mattress sits atop a bed frame that allows for luggage storage underneath. The view from the bed looks out upon the lush forest and serene waters of Fish Creek making for a peaceful scene you’d visit Schuyler Yacht Basin for alone.
The Kitchen
If you so choose we provide a kitchenette with everything you could want to cook simple meals for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is an electric kettle for heating water for coffee or tea and a French Press for steeping. There is also an electric single burner, cookware, utensils and cutlery. Don’t worry we’ve provided a mini-fridge with a separate freezer to keep any of you grilling items cold or frozen until your ready to fire up the grill on the porch.
The Bathroom
The bathroom in all of the cabins are unexpectedly spacious. We’ve been as efficient as possible by making all of the components of a full bathroom fit and work well in the space. There is a 36” corner shower, hands free flushing toilet and an adorable vanity in each bathroom.
